Lisa Newitt has been instrumental in Diabetes Care on the Mornington Peninsula for over 20 years. Her extensive experience across the community and home care environments, in both the private and public sectors has rewarded her with true insight into the ups and downs of life with Diabetes. Angela Lee is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with specialist interest in Diabetes Care.

Angela draws on her own personal experience with Diabetes and couples this with her clinical experience across all types of Diabetes. She can support you to understand the impact of different foods and and provide practical solutions to meet your nutritional goals and needs. Angela is well known for her personal and friendly approach and for making eating for Diabetes simple and satisfying.
Angela also has experience in gastrointestinal nutrition. She completed additional training through Monash University for IBS management with a low FODMAP diet and IBD training through Crohn’s and Colitis Australia.
Melissa Heatley - Podiatrist
Melissa is the owner and lead podiatrist at Frankston South Podiatry. She graduated from La Trobe University in 1992 and has accumulated over 30years of knowledge in all aspects of podiatry. Mel's experience includes working in Paediatric podiatry at Kwinana Child Development Centre in Perth, working as a sports podiatrist with the inaugural Fremantle Dockers AFL team. Melissa then mixed her love of travel with podiatry honing her skills in both the public and private sectors in the UK. On her return to Melbourne she had a stint as Chief Podiatrist at the Royal Melbourne Hospital Diabetic Ulcer Clinic.
Katrina Bevis - Podiatrist
Katrina Bevis has been a practising podiatrist for over 12 years since graduating from Latrobe University with a Bachelor of Podiatry in 2001. She is passionate about her role and her patients and enjoys the diversity podiatry offers with a keen interest in diabetes foot care, paediatric podiatry and sports podiatry.
Katrina continues to be passionate about her profession and strives to constantly update her skill and knowledge to ensure her patients get the best treatment available.
